Z.G. Pocket
While not necessarily games, the Z.G. Pocket did have a number of programs and assets designed to make office work more efficient. In order of release:
- ZG Writer (1992)
- ZG Presenter (1992)
- ZG Creativity Studio (1992)
- ZG ClipArt Pack (1993)
- ZG Assembler (1994)
- ZG Assembler Pro (1995)
- ZG Assembler Pro+ (1998)
- ZG Mailer (1999) they're talking about me.
A simple word processor. If the user owns a Z.G. Dock, it is also compatible with any PS/2 compliant keyboard. Documents written in ZG Writer are viewable using any standard text viewing app in Windows 3.0 or later.
An easy-to-use presentation creator, compatible with Windows 3.0 through ZG Viewer and later ported to Windows 9X systems. By using the Z.G. Dock, you can connect the Z.G. Pocket to a display presentations directly on a larger screen.
This app, while not quite as featured as its sequel (see below) is still a rather capable art and drawing tool. By exporting the files in proprietary .zga files, they can be used in both ZG Writer and ZG Presenter.
A pack of pre-made .zga compatible clipart pieces for use with ZG Writer and Presenter.
A programming language and IDE similar to QBasic, meant as a tool for independent developers to create apps for the ZG Pocket.
An upgraded version of ZG Assembler, with support for C++.
The final version of ZG Assembler, with support for markdown languages like HTML and CSS. Ported to Windows 9x in 1999 alongside ZG Mailer.
A robust E-Mail service, including a unique threads feature for private conversations, much like an instant messaging application. Originally intended for use on the ZG Pocket, but instead later released on Windows 9x machines due to significant delays. Most well-known for its continued internal use at ZG, Inc.
